The band is made up up of superb, experienced musicians and their knowledge of the Lindy Hop Scene has been gained over many years of performing experience. The secret to a great swing band is keeping the length of the songs short. This, plus recognisable tunes and perfect dance tempos. Mississippi Swing play a great repertoire taken from the swing masters. Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Glen Miller and Duke Ellington all feature in our repertoire. You will also hear the hits of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.
